Focus on carbon steel
In MIG/MAG welding technique we focus on carbon steel, but we also have many years experience on stainless steel. Swedish Powertrain offers flexible equipment, first and foremost robot welding and the experience of many different project assignments.
A large range of different machines handled by experienced operators has given Swedish Powertrain a leading profile in both the automotive and engineering industries worldwide. Machinery from ESAB, Kemppi, Lincoln, Pemamek Oy and Kirkhof guarantee strength, durability and function.
Welding robots with their own fixture solutions
Some of the market’s best welding robots with positioners from ABB and Motoman produce welding joints of fine quality and excellent continuity. We also have in-depth experience of automated, product-controlled welding.
We use friction welding in our propeller shaft production where we are welding together two metal parts only by pressure and heat generated from friction. This process has been used for decades and is a very reliable technique.
Friction welding can be used on almost any material and even to weld two different materials together without any additives. The process is fast and clean and produces a very strong bond between the two parts.
